Do Your Own Thing
Thing You Could Do | Why You Would Do It |
Visit the Pearl Brewery |
Not to drink beer (although you could). This is a complex of restaurants, shops and cafes, built on the site of the history Pearl Brewery. Check out Local Coffee to get the closest thing to a Melbourne coffee fix. See if they'll make you a flat white. Jump on a river taxi down the river to downtown.

Drive the Mission Trail |
The Alamo is the most famous mission, but there are actually five missions in San Antonio that are maintained by the San Antonio Missions National Park. The Missions have just been designated as the first World Heritage Site in Texas and the 23rd in the nation.

San Antonio Riverwalk |
The Riverwalk is one of the most visited places in all of Texas and features luxurious hotels, delicious dining / restaurants, great nightclubs, nightlife, and entertainment. Hop on a riverboat cruse for an exciting tour of San Antonio and its historic river.
